Nice pool, rooms are clean and new (as of August 2017), elevators are a little slow, the breakfast includes hot & cold items, there are nice areas for groups to congregate inside around the breakfast/manager's reception area and the pool/sports court/fire pit area outside. There's a mini lazy river around the pool that is nice. I saw some guests walk out with a basketball and shoot baskets on the small sports court. The outdoor area also includes at least one grill (maybe 2) so that along with the 2-burner stove and microwave in the rooms means you can prepare meals and the hotel. I didn't have a need to stop by the fitness center but it had a few cardio machines as I recall. Water pressure was good and the shower/tub was fine. Stayed in room 211, a 2 bed suite (one room has 2 beds and the sink & closet with the shower/toilet in a separate space, then a front room with a couch, TV and the kitchen area). There is also a small pantry with some food items for sale by the front desk. I checked in on the Hilton app & selected my room on the app but the electronic key using my phone did not work. They tried to refresh it once and it still didn't work but the normal plastic key was fine.
Great customer service! We were originally given a room in the front of the hotel. One night of listening to freeway traffic and I was done. We went to the front desk and complained--they gave us a new room without question and even helped us move. They were very apologetic and asked us to let them know if they could do anything else. The pool is nice and there's free hot breakfast every day. We will stay there again.
Trophy Club is a nice area and so is Southlake. You'll find lots of dinning options nearby. The hotel is very clean and new. The breakfast is always great too. The fitness center need a little attention to keep things working. Besides that, my stay was nearly flawless.
This hotel was very clean and had very nice rooms! However, one of the attendant's had a major attitude problem when I helped myself to some of the complimentary snacks before 4... (at 3:50). Excuse me missy...but I did not know the "rules"!!!!. She continued to have a nasty attitude through out the entire week I stayed there. I think she might have been worried about other women taking attention from the man she was sneaking up to one of the rooms to see after hours. The complimentary meals, beer, and wine during the week was a nice way to relax in the evening. Breakfast was good too. Loved the Texas shaped waffles. Would stay here again....but I would have complained to a manager about her if I had it to do over again.
Fantastic hotel! Set up for long stay- each room has separate living room and kitchenette with full fridge. Very newly built, and very nice for the price! Complimentary breakfast is great, outdoor pool is very nice, and staff is very helpful. Only downside is it's right next to a noisy highway, and there is not much selection of restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended though!
